FAMILY HISTORY

The Family History Project is an exciting opportunity for Pacific Northwest families to share their unique stories with future generations. Historically, families were drawn to the extraordinary potential of this region. Each family brought with it a rich assortment of languages, customs, and religious beliefs that have become part of the fabric of the Northwest.

Our project is more than genealogy, more than names, dates, and places. It tells the stories behind the facts.

Every family story is special. Through the Family History Project, you are invited to informative classes especially designed to capture your family history. By collecting and sharing your story, you will create with us a legacy, not only for individual families, but for coming generations. By donating copies of your stories to the Family History Project, you are making an important contribution to the history of our Northwest community offering insights into social and cultural customs and major events that shaped the nature of family and society in the Northwest. In the future, the Center will provide research access to the Family History Project through the Family History Data Bank.

We invite you to join the Family History Project and share your unique story. To learn more about the project email info@holynamesheritagecenter.org or call 503-607-0595.

We invite you to become a member of the Holy Names Heritage Center. Visit our Membership page for more information.
